C.H.
Weber, Inc. has been an integral part of the design and access of
numerous cell sites. From co-locate sites to water towers and stealth
designs C.H. Weber, Inc. has the experience to facilitate the project.
Considerations must be given to proper grading and drainage to any
functional cell site. Defined power requirements must also be considered
to understand what is available on site and what will need to be
‘brought in’ to accommodate additional equipment. Once
all variables are defined and approved, tower specifications take
precedence.

C.H. Weber, Inc. has climbed, designed, and built every type of
tower available. Our in-house team of experts has been in the industry
for over 50 years. Designing a facility is contingent on the existing
tower capacity or development of a new cell tower. It is imperative
to note whether an existing entry port and/or waveguide ladder is
available or if a new one is required. While a complete understanding
of towers is required, another common entity exists within the telecommunications
industry commonly referred to as rooftops.

Rooftop locations present a unique set of issues such as structural
loading, cable routing, power availability, network (broadband accessibility),
grounding, and equipment placement. C.H. Weber, Inc. has successfully
designed and constructed numerous rooftop structures from banking
facilities to church steeples. Regardless of the design the ultimate
goal is to get the information back to the switch for routing and
processing.

Switch Centers can be one of the most challenging experiences for
any company. C.H. Weber, Inc. has participated in several new site
builds throughout the continental United States. Our in-house team
of experts can provide solutions for grounding, equipment placement,
HVAC design, cable wiring and routing, electrical design, generators,
UPS systems, fire suppression systems, and provisioning. C.H. Weber,
Inc. has the experience to create the most effective solution possible.
Grounding solutions are especially critical in switch centers and
with out proper engineering can lead to constant phantom system
failures.

Existing sites experience normal wear and tear. Vendor specific
equipment requires maintenance and upgrades. New concrete pads are
required along with additional power to the site for cabinets and
additional equipment. Whether it’s a 3rd party inspection,
site audits, site drawings, or electrical upgrades C.H. Weber, Inc.
will provide, coordinate, and manage the process.
